I found this test over at Damon Lord's place which supposedly shows where one sits on the Socio-political spectrum.
I think it puts me roughly where I thought I would end up.
Have a go and see if you can be so easily pigeon holed.
Oh and do let me know the results.
The 'Grid' and my own little home therein.

Thanks for the link to the test, Grendel. In your links, you may want to include the following. It opens your link in a new windows and lets your reader remain on your blog w/out hitting the back button.

Blimey, we have the same views. (Bet you don't vote UKIP though)
The problem with this model, which all of them have is that it creates compartments instead of a continuum.
I don't think there is such a thing as a left libertarian as it is only libertarian on individuals rather than economics. It is liberal in the American sense.
Try the advocates and see if you are still a centrist. (You probably will be). I used to be but am now much more small government.
I got left libertarian (no shock there), with Ganghi and Castro as the people I was most like. Hmm.
ASE - Blimey. I'm not really terribly good with this technical stuff but thanks for the advice.
Jeremy - Correct on both counts, but not totally unsympathetic.
James - I tend to agree, it's a terrible oversimplification as well. But as a bit of fun to pass the time of day....
Ian - Thanks for the link. Actually I ended up well into Libertarian area.
Crushed - well at least you have the company of one man of integrity. You can decide which :-)
Grendel, Took the test. Curiously enough, according to the test, I got pretty much the same as you – and it appears Jeremy. I thought some of the questions were slightly ambiguous and some I would have preferred a middle ‘neutral’ option on.
There are very few examples quoted on the libertarian side – I wonder how come none of their examples are in the right libertarian quarter.
I'm in roughly the same spot as Ghandi. But I didn't understand some of the questions! And some I would have preferred a neutral alternative.
I've just won $100 for an article about the Arsenal Man U game! And I know about as much about football as I do politics!
Economic Left/Right: -3.50
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -1.79
PS: came via Liz, thanks Liz.
