100 Visitors to the swamp.
I know that to most of the blogeratti 100 visits to your site aren’t actually that many at all. However I must admit a slight sense of satisfaction at this most minor of mile stones. As I may have commented before the idea originally was just to obtain an onscreen identity so I could leave the odd comment on issues raised on other blogs. It was never really the intention to try and publish anything on a regular basis and it certainly wasn’t expected that anyone would read it.
The thing that is really nice is the fact that real bloggers have actually linked to this site (The Thunder Dragon, The Final Redoubt, The Croydonian, Theo Spark and The Daily Referendum in particular). These guys are the real deal and have an understanding of the matters in hand and eloquence that one can aspire to but know that one probably won’t achieve.
The other thing that vexes me is that I haven’t quite worked out the ‘Grendel’ angle yet. Should I go predominantly on Sauron / Nude Labia Bashing, the hack and slash on my local NHS (for whom I work) or the family / football bit. Jack of all trades etc. Perhaps I will have worked that out by the time I get to add a further ‘0’ to the visitor numbers. Any advice from my more experienced colleagues would be gratefully received.
In the meantime thanks for coming to the swamp… Take care.
